Yamaha PSS-140-Lite (Decent Sampler Library)

I recently discovered this old FM Synthesis synth keyboard tucked away at an antique mall. Much like my PSR-2 This one is a cheap, and very lofi keyboard instrument. It comes with a bunch of preset sounds, however, unlike the PSR, this model only used FM Synthesis and did not have AWM Technology or PCM. Given their simplicity, the PSS Line of instruments are prime candidates for circuit bending. Something I hope to explore in the future after more research.

All of these sounds it makes are honestly fantastic. It has much more variety in sonic choice than the PSR did and I think it's more fun to play with. The size is great for just quick sketches and Ideas. The keyboard isn’t a full one and is much more limited, but for what I’d use it for, it’s honestly preferable.
